The Rotary Club of Romsey Test has around 60 members and was established back in 1990. We are part of a global Rotary network of 1.4m neighbours, friends, leaders and problem solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across our communities and across the Globe.
How could I get involved?
We are always on the lookout for new members. We meet every Wednesday evening in the Royal British Legion. We have also started organising some breakfast meetings at 8am in Youth in Romsey Building by the Rapids. We have lots of committees you could join so really it depends on what you are interested in. From Youth to Community to Communications or fundraising. We also have separate committees for our larger events like Walk the Test Way and the Relay Marathon.
If, however, you would just like to volunteer at one of our events then we would love to hear from you too. Please visit our contact us page and someone will be in touch or alternatively send us a quick message through FB @rotaryinromsey
What events does the club organise?
As mentioned earlier we are best known for organising the annual Walk the Test Way and the Romsey Relay Marathon. These sponsored events have been a huge success and have raised huge sums of money over the years.
This year's Walk The Test Way will be held on Sunday 25th September 2022.
The Relay Marathon was a huge success this year and we look forward to organising is again in May 2023! Date TBC.
'The Club also organises a number of other events throughout the year including, Reminiscences of Romsey, Youth Speaks, the Mayor's Picnic & Duck Race, and Young Technology Tournament.
"It is a real honour to be selected for this position and I look forward to the many unexpected challenges that the year will undoubtedly bring.
Thank you everyone for all your support with our events"
